Firstly, how can you be 19 and have terrible grammar? I can barely make out what youre saying. Numbers dont win wars? That’s just ridiculous. How do you think the Soviet Union defeated Nazi Germany? Comparing the USMC to the Royal Marines is like comparing a dump truck to a pick up truck. A more comparable force would be the US Navy SEALs.

lol…worse war loses for the shortest amount of time? The United States military only lost 2.4 percent of all military forces. The UK on the other hand lost 5.2 percent of all military forces. The USSR lost 25 percent. How exactly did the US have the worse loses? So how exactly did we have the worse war loses for the shortest battle time?

“To have the United States at our side was to me the greatest joy. Now at this very moment I knew the United States was in the war, up to the neck and in to the death. So we had won after all!…Hitler’s fate was sealed. Mussolini’s fate was sealed. As for the Japanese, they would be ground to powder.” — Winston Churchill

Why do you think he would say that? He said it because the British could not win the fight alone. With the US on your side you could at least fight back.

The British forces have NEVER lost a war.
The only time the US win is when they are allied with another nation. But when the US try to help another they fail just look at nam. Britain maybe small but they have the worlds most powerful leader.

Firstly the US has won Mexican-American War, American Indian Wars, Grenada, Panama alone, and we were the single biggest factor in the defeat of the Japanese in WWII. Now how far do we go back with the British? William the Conqueror was a Norman and conquered England, you lost to Owen Tudor (War of Roses), First Anglo-Afghan War, and of course British forces lost the American Revolutionary War. The US helped the Koreans and Kuwaitis and didnt fail.

I see the great British – American “who’s got the bigger balls” conversation is up and running again. The only thing to note is that which ever force, US or UK, the men and women put themselves in harms way as instructed without comment. Deep respect to those members of both countries who face danger every day.

for fucks sake,America only joined the war because it felt that if Britain lost, it would have no other strong capitalistic country to ally itself th. In ww1, they only joined to insure that they would get their loans repaid by the British. Any way, how can u say that Britain needed ur help in ww2, we were the first country to stand against hitler and defeat him in the battle of britain. Englands borders are never to be infiltrated again

CONTINUED>.. England stood alone for the first 2 years of the war. we sustained more losses over a longer time, because we were in the war for a longer time u insolent prick. America only came into the war because of a government conspiracy with the Japanese. Pearl harbour, isn’t it just convenient that all aircraft carriers were away at the time, and that all ships that were harboured at pearl, were old and coming near their sell by date

ONTINUED>…. During the pearl harbour attacks, america was already building its new fleet, of ‘advanced’ submarines and battleships. And, also, my dad was a Royal Marine and there are no other worldwide unit as well trained physically and mentally for the British marines. If experienced ‘elite’ us men tried the initial marines test, only 5% would succeed, and that’s only the initial. So go f*** urself u Us ‘jerk-off’, LONG LIVE ENGLAND.

It has been stated and interpreted by many UK posters on here, that the USA didn’t enter WW2 and didn’t want to know.9 out of 10 Americans said no?Why?Because alot of them in the mid-west came from Germany and were very nationalisticThose who volunteered to fight for Britain, mainly came from British,Polish,Dutch and French backgrounds. The USA also would have done a deal with Germany,if Britain lost the Battle Of Britain. The USA wasn’t banking on the UK holding out. They should have been in in 39′

Also alot of US Navy personnel and merchant fleet personnel, who volunteered for the British war effort were American-Jews themselves. Those boys who volunteered and fought with us,I congragulate you all,if you’re watching this video. The argument about supplying us etc, etc:well guys,we need more than this, because you’ve got to enter the war,to help destroy the Nazis.Britain will always be grateful for the US aid,but they and the other allies, will never forgive the US government, for late entry.

This might be the wrong place to be asking this, but I’ve already tried looking everywhere else including the Official Royal Marines website.

    Tattoos:
I realise that there is nothing allowed above the collar and below the wrist, but I have a few tattoos on my arms and am finishing my left sleeve next month, and applying around the same time. Would this count as enough reason to not accept me?

I am looking for an answer from someone that’s in or has applied to the marines.

I would advice you ask at the recruiting office, if this is the job you want to it would be better to know rather than too late..
