   man, just get a clue what Sodom stands for, just listen some other songs, like “napalm in the morning”, “agent orange” or “ausgebombt” which means as much as “Bombardement is over” in English. They are clearly ANTI war, their lyrics always were kind of Punk. I wouldn’t listen to that band, if it would be so. By the way: I became friends with some marines who were in Germany, so nothing against you, but war sucks

   I know that Sodom are typically anti-war but its much harder to tell on this. Maybe they’re coming from that “don’t support the war support the troops angle.” I feel sorry for every underequiped soldier right now in Iraq or Afghanistan but I tell you, if I ever see a British or American marine in my country he better be ready for a fucking petrol bomb up his ass.

    I was a Marine infantryman and we called ourselves grunts. Grunt is the affectionate term that all services all over the world refer to their infantrymen as. Not just the Army.
